The method includes the steps of firstly, conducting primary seed soaking, wherein the magnolia denudata seeds are poured into an NaOH solution to be soaked for 4-5 hours and then filtered out; secondly, conducting washing, wherein the seeds filtered out are put in a container and washed till the pH value of outflow clear water is neutral; thirdly, conducting secondary seed soaking, wherein washed seeds are put in a GA3 solution and a 6-BA solution to be soaked for 40-48 hours; fourthly, conducting stratification treatment, wherein seeds are covered with sand about 0.5-1 cm thick and put at a day and night temperature of 18-28 DEG C to be treated for 10-12 weeks so that dormancy of seeds can be eliminated. The magnolia denudata seeds can be treated in batches through the method, the germination rate can reach 85-95%, and the method has the advantages of being simple in procedure, few in chemical raw material type, low in chemical raw material consumption, short in seed treatment cycle and low in cost.
