Problems solved by technology

To solve the problem of fixed B-MAC preamble length, X-MAC modifies the long preamble of B-MAC into a series of short preambles with fixed gaps, and further reduces the length of the preamble by using the method that the receiving node actively sends ACK in advance for data exchange. X-MAC significantly reduces the length of the preamble, and its transmission performance is better than that of B-MAC through simulation verification. However, when the network traffic is large, the channel utilization of X-MAC is low.

Embodiment

[0063] In order to further verify the performance of the H-MAC protocol of the present invention, the network simulation software NS2 is used to simulate and verify the performance of the H-MAC protocol and the B-MAC protocol of the present invention. In order to ensure the comparability of the two protocols, the network is Figure 4 The simulation parameter settings shown in the table are shown.

[0064] Since the performance of the MAC protocol is mainly considered here, in the simulation, the Figure 5 The single-hop network topology shown in and Image 6 The shown multi-hop network topology diagram analyzes the performance of the protocol.

[0065] In the single-hop network topology, a node is randomly selected as the test node, and other nodes are used as interference nodes. The network load is changed by changing the arrival time interval of data packets. The transmission interval of the interference node is fixed at 5s. When the data transmission interval of the test ...

Abstract

The invention provides an implementation method for a high channel utilization H-MAC protocol of a wireless sensor network. The H-MAC protocol takes a longest time TS1 of a continuously sending short preamble of a node as a time interval and divides the time interval into a continuously circulating preamble part and a precontract part. The implementation method has the advantages that the H-MAC protocol adopts a novel channel competition mechanism combining a low-power listening technique (LPL) with a random backoff mechanism to improve the channel utilization; a work schedule of the node is determined through a random wakening mechanism to decrease the probability of data collision; a wakening moment prediction mechanism is adopted to predict a wakening moment of a destination node to decrease the idle listening time of the node.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to communication technology, in particular to the realization method of H-MAC protocol for high channel utilization rate of wireless sensor network. Background technique [0002] Wireless sensor network (WirelessSensorNetwork, WSN) is a multi-hop self-organizing network system composed of sensor nodes. The channel access protocol (MediaAccessControl, MAC) controls the work of the communication module and has a decisive impact on the upper layer protocol. Therefore, optimizing the work of the communication module by improving the MAC protocol is a better way to improve the performance of the WSN network. [0003] According to the requirements of the protocol on the clock, the MAC protocol can be divided into synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous MAC protocols require a certain degree of time synchronization within the WSN. For example, S-MAC needs to realize time synchronization of the same virtual cluster, while TDMA needs to...
