Abstract

The embodiments of the invention disclose a flow control method and apparatus under NFV configuration. The method comprises the following steps: virtualizing multiple virtual resources for independently running service on a physical resource, at the same time, dividing the physical resource into multiple sub physical resources, wherein there are corresponding relations between the virtual resources and the sub physical resource; obtaining preset mapping relations between service priorities and the virtual resources, and according to the preset mapping relations between the service priorities and the virtual resources, arranging priorities for the virtual resources; and when physical resource congestion is caused by a service flow burst, according to the priorities of the virtual resources and the corresponding relations between the virtual resources and the sub physical resources, controlling the sub physical resources used by the virtual resources.
