Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of paddy rice seed breeding, especially relates to a paddy rice hybridization method with castration through glume cutting and alcohol spraying, and aims to increase the varietal hybridization matching efficiency of paddy rice. The paddy rice hybridization method includes the steps of uniformly spraying 60-80% of medicinal alcohol on ears of rice of a female parent plant, of which 1/2-2/3 of glume hull has been cut, for performing castration and disinfection, covering the treated female parent plant by a light-proof kraft paper bag, and performing pollination at proper time and harvesting the hybridization seeds. The hybridization method is mainly characterized in that by means of the medicinal alcohol for spraying the ears of rice which has been pruned and glume-cut. The raw materials are easy to obtain. The method is low in cost, is convenient to carry out, is simple and is easy to learn, is greatly reduced in castration time compared with other relative methods in the prior art, and is greatly improved in efficiency.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of rice breeding, in particular to a method for rice hybridization by spraying glumes with ethanol and detasseling, which improves the hybridization efficiency of rice varieties. Background technique [0002] Rice is one of the most important food crops in the world, and it is also the largest food crop in my country. It plays a very important role in food production. Rice hybridization is an indispensable and important step in rice breeding to improve the traits of rice varieties. [0003] An excellent rice hybridization method is of great significance for reducing work intensity, improving work efficiency, and speeding up the cultivation of new varieties for field hybridization. The manual tweezers emasculation hybridization method has a large workload and low efficiency. If you don’t pay attention, it will damage the flower organs and reduce the seed setting rate. It is difficult to complete the goal of ...
