Abstract

The invention relates to a method for identifying cymbidium rapidly and belongs to the technical field of plant identification. The method is characterized in that cymbidium genomic DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is extracted with a CTAB (cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide) method for plant genomic DNA, a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) product band after amplification is observed through electrophoretic detection according to an RAPD (random amplified polymorphic DNA) amplification reaction of a random primer BS-5 of cymbidium and a PCR amplification reaction of an SCAR (sequence characterized amplified region) labeled primer, and each cymbidium has a specific band about 1070 bp. The method for identifying cymbidium rapidly can be used for detecting a large quantity of species rapidly and has a positive role in sorting of cymbidium species, classified study, species clarification, protection of seed resources, molecular identification, pushing of establishment of an international registration system of cymbidium and the like.
