Provided are a smart home communication system and method equipped with Web Service functions. The smart home communication system comprises a hardware communication interface, a data processing center, an autonomous register module, a Web Service interface, and a wireless communication unit. The hardware communication interface is connected with conventional equipment, and transmits acquired equipment information to the data processing center to process by means of type conversion. The data processing center analyzes and processes data and has a function of automatically adjusting an equipment state, and achieves functions of configuring an equipment parameter, transmitting data to a network server, and performing local storage in different states. The autonomous register module autonomously initiates and completes a function of registering equipment in the network server. The equipment parameter can be configured by a user or the data processing center. The Web Service interface provides a user with an interface for directly interacting with the equipment, and may perform parameter configuration and equipment information checking. The wireless communication unit performs data interaction with the network server, sends the equipment information and the register information.
