The method comprises: after a wireless terminal supporting a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT establishes a connection with a second RAT network, receiving, by the wireless terminal, a first message sent by the second RAT network, wherein the first message comprises a content used for querying a first RAT capability of the wireless terminal; and sending, by the wireless terminal, a second message to the second RAT network, wherein the second message is used for indicating that the wireless terminal does not support the first RAT.
