Abstract

The invention discloses a router addressing method for instant communication server interoperability. The method includes 1, marking, namely establishing an identifier RID, HID and UID unique in the whole network for each instant communication router, server and user; 2, addressing, namely when the instant communication user logs through different servers, allowing the server, allowing the user to log, to query the network address of servers the user logged to establish network connection among the servers; 3, routing, namely when a source server transmits a target server addressing request to a managing router, allowing the router to route the addressing request in a routing service network and return the target server network address to the source server after the network address is queried.
