Embodiment 1
[0016] Using Ru / ZrO with 1.0w%Ru 2 Catalytic hydrogenation in a fixed-bed reactor to prepare o-methylcyclohexanol. The raw material for hydrogenation is a methylcyclohexane solution containing 50w% o-cresol. The reaction conditions are: reaction temperature 100°C, reaction pressure 5.0 MPa, the space velocity of o-cresol is 1.0h -1 , The molar ratio of hydrophenol is 10:1. The conversion rate of o-cresol and the selectivity of o-methylcyclohexanol were 99.8% and 99.1% respectively, and the yield of o-methylcyclohexanol was 98.9%.
Embodiment 2
[0018] Using Pd / Al with 2.0w%Pd 2 o 3 Catalyst was used in a fixed bed reactor to prepare o-methylcyclohexanol by catalytic hydrogenation. The raw material for hydrogenation was a butanol solution containing 20w% o-cresol. The reaction conditions were: reaction temperature 60°C, reaction pressure 7.0MPa, o Cresol space velocity is 2.0h -1 , The molar ratio of hydrophenol is 30:1. The conversion rate of o-cresol and the selectivity of o-methylcyclohexanol were 96.5% and 99.7% respectively, and the yield of o-methylcyclohexanol was 96.2%.
Embodiment 3
[0020] Using Ir / TiO with 10.0w%Ir 2 Catalysts were used in a fixed-bed reactor for catalytic hydrogenation to prepare o-methylcyclohexanol. The raw material for hydrogenation was a butyl acetate solution containing 70w% o-cresol. The reaction conditions were: reaction temperature 180°C, reaction pressure 10.0MPa, The space velocity of o-cresol is 0.25h -1 , The molar ratio of hydrophenol is 4:1. The conversion rate of o-cresol and the selectivity of o-methylcyclohexanol were 100% and 98.2% respectively, and the yield of o-methylcyclohexanol reached 98.2%.
