The photochromic performance measurement method comprises the following steps: measuring a spectrum distribution of three primary colors in detected light; acquiring a light current value corresponding to the detected light through a photoelectric conversion device; acquiring the light power of the three base colors of the detected light according to the light current value and the central wavelengths of the three base colors in the photoelectric conversion device; calculating a spectrum power coefficient of the detected light; calculating a spectrum power distribution of the detected light; acquiring a photochromic performance parameter of the detected light according to the spectrum power distribution of the detected light. The method can be used for measuring the photochromic performance of laser projection displaying and hybrid light source projection displaying.
