The tree measuring method comprises the following steps: firstly, fixing the two calibrated mobile phones on the two supporting sheets of the vertical rod respectively; secondly, under the assistance of a leveling bubble, regulating foot screws of the chassis to enable the panoramic normal-case forest sample plot photographing mobile phone device to keep level; thirdly, opening panoramic photographing modes of the mobile phones, and automatically rotating for one circle to obtain panoramic stereopair of a forest sample plot; finally, by virtue of a transformation relationship between a photogrammetric image space and a photogrammetric object space, acquiring coordinates of standing trees in the sample plot, and determining relative position relationship between the standing trees, wherein according to the transformation relationship between the image space and the object space, breast diameters and tree heights of the standing trees in the sample plot can be acquired.
