The method for feeding the live pigs comprises the following steps: washing a whole cage house before feeding, putting a padding, selecting high-quality breeding pigs and starting to feed, feeding additive-containing base feed to sows before the sows mate; keeping the temperature of the pig house at 28-32 DEG C and feeding compound feed to the sows after the sows mate and before the sows farrow; feeding water prepared by decocting ginger and brown sugar firstly and then feeding feed after the sows farrow; feeding an additive-containing piglet compound feed to piglets in a period from birth to ablactation of the piglets; feeding a piglet feed to the piglets after the piglets have ablactation; controlling and preventing diseases, carrying out regular health care and expelling parasites. The feed can be used for meeting the requirements on nutrition in various stages of the farrowing sows and the piglets so as to ensure the nutrition and farrowing rate of the sows, reduce diarrhea of the piglets and increase the survival rate of the piglets.
