Abstract

The invention discloses a backup automatic switching apparatus with an area automatic switching function, used for a power supply system of a dual-source serial supply structure. The backup automatic switching apparatus comprises an area backup automatic switching device and a plurality of acquisition and execution units, the area backup automatic switching device is configured at any one power supply station or any one serial supply transformer station, the plurality of acquisition and execution units are respectively arranged at two power supply stations and each serial supply transformer station, and all the acquisition and execution units respectively interact real-time information with the area backup automatic switching device through a fiber communication network; and each acquisition and execution unit acquires analog quantity information of the station corresponding to each acquisition and execution unit, after converting the analog quantity information into switching quantity information, uploads the switching quantity information to the area backup automatic switching device, at the same time, receives switching-off and switching-on commands transmitted down by the area backup automatic switching device and executes switching-off and switching-on motion. By using the backup automatic switching apparatus provided by the invention, power supply can be quickly recovered for a power-off serial supply transformer station through switching-off and switching-on operation at a time when any one serial supply switch is taken as an open loop point. The invention also discloses a backup automatic switching method for a backup automatic switching apparatus with an area automatic switching function.
