Embodiment Construction

[0026] figure 1 An electric motor 1 is shown with the motor housing and stator omitted, the electric motor having a rotor 2 with a plurality of laminations (commutator laminations) of commutators 3 arranged to be fixed to the rotor and shown in dashed lines, and the motor has a brush arrangement 4 with two brushes 5 arranged at the circumference of the rotor 2 offset with respect to each other. As shown in the case of only one of the brushes 5 , the brushes are located in a brush housing 6 together with a spring element 7 , which, under a corresponding spring prestress, compresses the corresponding brush 5 . Pressing against the commutator 3 results in that the respective brush 5 is supported in contact with the commutator 3 or on the commutator stack. figure 2 The corresponding brush arrangement 4 without the rotor 2 is shown in perspective.

[0027] The brushes 5 are each connected by a coil 8 to a current path 9, represented diagrammatically by plus (+) and minus (-) sig...

Abstract

An electric motor for driving a motor vehicle component, in particular a fan motor for chilling cooling water, contains a rotor that includes a commutator, against which a brush rests in a contacting manner. A plastic-sheathed pressed screen for forming a current path that is embossed in an electric insulation is connected to the brush. The current path conducting a motor current is interrupted to form two spaced-apart current path ends. An interruption point is bridged by a contact spring that is used as a temperature fuse and consists of two spring legs, each of which has a fixing end and a free end. Each fixing end of the spring legs is connected to a current path end, while the free ends thereof are in contact with each other using a soldered connection so as to bias the spring.

Description

[0001] This application is a divisional application of the patent application with the application number of 201180010570.3 (PCT / EP2011 / 000231), the filing date of which is on January 20, 2011, and the invention title is "electric motor for driving motor vehicle components". technical field [0002] The invention relates to an electric motor for driving motor vehicle components, the electric motor having a rotor with rotor windings which are connected to a commutator, on which the commutator is supported in a contacting manner A brush, the motor also has a heat release. In this context, the electric motor should be understood in particular to mean the DC fan motor used for coolant cooling in motor vehicles. Background technique [0003] DE 10 2007 011 548 A1 discloses an adjustment system for a motor vehicle, such as a window rocker, a seat adjustment mechanism or a door or sliding roof drive, which is, for example, operated by an electric motor and has a drive Electronics ...
