Abstract

The system comprises a collector and an SAW temperature sensor. The collector is installed on a shell of a gas insulating switch. A bus is arranged in the shell of the gas insulating switch. The SAW temperature sensor is a passive wireless temperature sensor. The SAW temperature sensor is installed at the position of a contact of the bus. The collector is used for transmitting radio frequency signals to the SAW temperature sensor to serve as drive signals of the SAW temperature sensor. By means of the collector and the SAW temperature sensor, the operating temperature of the bus in the gas insulating switch can be monitored. The system fully utilizes the characteristic of the acoustic surface wave technology, and achieves online monitoring of the operating temperature of the insulating switch in a GIS on the premise of ensuring the insulating performance in the GIS.
