Abstract

The invention provides a video and audio transmission device, and the device comprises a power line communication module, an optical transmitting module, and an optical receiving module. The optical transmitting module comprises an independent frequency band signal transmitting unit. The optical receiving module comprises an independent frequency band signal detection unit. The power line communication module supplies data to a power line, and the data and a power line signal are synthesized to be a composite power line signal. The optical transmitting module extracts the data from the composite power line signal and drives an illuminant to emit an optical signal according to the data. The optical receiving module receives the optical signal, restores the optical signal, and converts the optical signal into audio data or image data. When the composite power line signal accords with a specified condition, the independent frequency band signal transmitting unit transmits a wireless signal comprising a synchronizing signal, and the independent frequency band signal detection unit receives the synchronizing signal, so as to achieve the communication synchronization between the optical transmitting and receiving modules.
