Abstract

The invention relates to a natural textile dye and a preparation method thereof. The natural textile dye comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 20-30 parts of impatiens balsamina extracts, 6-8 parts of camphor tree leaf extracting solution, 6-8 parts of ephedra and 6-8 parts of tea leaves. The preparation method comprises the following steps of (1) smashing ephedra and tea leaves; (2) heating ephedra and tea leaves, stirring, absorbing and filtering; (3) extracting the filtrate by using ethyl acetate, adding impatiens balsamina extracts and camphor tree leaf extracting solution, heating and stirring to obtain a red brown paste, namely, the natural textile dye. The natural textile dye is safe, environment-friendly, capable of taking mildew-proof and anti-bacterial effects, favorable in pigment stability as well as simple and easy in preparation method.
