Abstract

The invention relates to a face feature point positioning method and device, and belongs to a computer field. The method comprises the following steps: detecting a face image in a current frame of image in a video sequence; according to the final positioning positions of the face feature points of the previous frame of image, determining the initial positioning positions of the face feature points of the current frame of image in the detected face image; and according to the image feature value of the face image on the initial positioning positions, positioning the face feature points of the current frame of image so as to obtain the final positioning positions of the face feature points of the current frame of image. The device comprises a detection module, a determining module and a positioning module. According to the invention, the obtained initial positioning positions of the face feature points of the current frame of image can be near the practical positions of the face feature points of the current frame of image according to the final positioning positions of the face feature points of the previous frame of image so as to reduce iterations in a positioning computation process and improve feature point positioning efficiency.
