Embodiment Construction

[0033] The present invention adopts detection method, and concrete implementation method is such:

[0034] The voltage at both ends of the coil at the transmitting end can be directly sampled and sent to a differential circuit for signal conversion. The current flowing through the transmitter coil can be obtained through a sampling resistor or a current sensor, and the signal is converted through a differential circuit. Another indirect method is to ignore the harmonic components in the current, and directly sample the peak voltage across the capacitor in series with the inductor, and divide it by 1.414, which is the effective value of the current flowing through the inductor and capacitor.

[0035] The effective value calculation circuit is used to calculate the average value of the effective value of the voltage and current signals, and this circuit can be realized in various ways. One of the ways is to pass the voltage and current signals through an absolute value calculat...

Abstract

The invention relates to an algorithm for indirectly detecting metal foreign bodies for a wireless charger. When the metal foreign bodies appear between the wireless charger and mobile equipment, eddy-current loss of the metal foreign bodies is caused, heat is generated, and accordingly ignition and other security problems are brought. The algorithm is used for detecting heating of the metal foreign bodies and terminating power transmission in time. The core content of the algorithm is as follows: the difference between power transmitted from the transmitting end of the wireless charger and power received from the receiving end of the mobile equipment is detected so that loss power of the metal foreign bodies can be calculated, if the loss power exceeds a certain set value, power transmission is terminated, and thus the temperature of the metal foreign bodies is prevented from further rising. An indirect detection method is used for detecting transmission power, the vector difference of a voltage effective value and a current effective value is deduced so that a vector phase difference can be obtained, accordingly the vector phase difference between active power and apparent power is obtained, and the effective value of the active power is solved through the effective value of the apparent power and the vector difference; compared with a direct detection method, cost is obviously reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to preventing heat generation caused by metal foreign objects on the wireless charger. After correction, the algorithm can accurately calculate the heat generation of metal foreign objects, which plays a key role in the safety of wireless chargers in use. [0002] The scope of application of the present invention is mainly electromagnetic induction type wireless charger (QI standard), magnetic resonance type wireless charger, and is used in occasions where the power of a single power source is calculated accurately. [0003] Background technique [0004] Among the existing commonly used wireless charging technologies, the QI standard has gradually become a mainstream wireless charging standard. If a metal object is placed between the transmitting end and the receiving end of the wireless charger, the AC magnetic field will generate eddy current loss in the metal and generate heat, which will generate high temperature and...
