[0020] Synthesis of β-AgI by Hydrothermal Synthesis 3 o 8 the crystal

[0021] AgNO 3 (0.20mmol, 34.0mg), I 2 o 5 (8.0mmol, 2670.5mg) and H 2 O (2.0mL) was put into a hydrothermal reaction kettle, sealed, and placed in a box-type resistance furnace. After 6 hours, the temperature was raised from 30°C to 210°C, and the constant temperature was reacted for 72 hours, and then dropped to 30°C at a rate of 1.0°C per hour. ℃, filtered and washed to obtain colorless granular β-AgI 3 o 8 crystals (see image 3 ).
