Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for sorting coal and gangue online through an image method and belongs to the technical field of identification of coal and coal gangue. The method for sorting the coal and gangue online through the image method comprises the following steps: acquiring image information of measured coal and gangue in different directions, respectively processing images, extracting outline information of the images and according to corresponding relations between outlines, calculating the volume of the coal and gangue by utilizing a multiple integration algorithm; acquiring weight information of the coal and gangue; calculating to obtain the density of the coal and gangue according to the volume and the weight of the coal and gangue, and comparing the density of the coal and gangue with set boundary values of densities of the coal and the coal gangue to judge whether the measured coal and gangue belongs to coal or coal gangue so as to achieve the purpose of sorting. The method and the device have strong real-time performance and high efficiency, are convenient to use, low in energy consumption and pollution-free.
