Abstract

The invention provides a visible light communication front end circuit which comprises a front end transmitting circuit and a front end receiving circuit. The front end transmitting circuit is used for carrying out alternating-current coupling on a first digital signal produced by a signal source and amplifying the first digital signal so that a first current signal can be generated and an LED can work in a linear region. The front end receiving circuit is used for converting an optical signal produced by the LED into a current signal and converting the current signal into a voltage signal so that a second digital signal corresponding to the first digital signal can be generated after lowpass filtering and gain amplification are carried out. According to the visible light communication front end circuit, a bias-T-type biasing circuit module does not need to be used, and circuit cost is low. The front end transmitting circuit can provide controllable direct-current bias for an LED lamp bank by means of variable resistors in a coupling mode, so that the LED can provide brightness needed by illumination and the modulation depth of an input signal can be high.
