Abstract

The invention provides a terminal device and a video data releasing method. The terminal device comprises a camera module, a coding and packaging unit, a first communication unit and a first processing unit. The camera module is used for shooting video and generating original data related to the shot video in real time. The coding and packaging unit is used for coding the original data so as to generate coded video data, packaging the video data according to a predetermined time interval so as to generate a plurality of first video clip data with a predetermined format, wherein the first video clip data can be played independently. The first communication unit is used for being communicated with a remote server, and the server is a hypertext transfer protocol server and supports the other terminal devices to download the first video clip data. The first processing unit is used for performing configuration to upload the first video clip data generated through the first communication unit to the server in real time.
