Abstract

This invention discloses a ship comprising an upper part, a middle part and a head part of a lower part. In the front section, the width of the upper part is decreased in an upward direction; in the front section, the middle part has constant width or the width is changed within a predetermined range; and in the front section, the width of the lower part is decreased in a downward direction; and the lower part is coupled to the bottom of the ship, and the head part is formed in a rearward direction and is formed in a predetermined range from the ship head to the upward direction.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims priority from Korean Patent Application No. 10-2012-0074011 filed on Jul. 6, 2012, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. technical field [0003] Various embodiments relate to ships. Background technique [0004] Ships are capable of transporting ore, large cargo such as containers or gas. Since the ship sails floating on the water, it will be affected by the wave-making resistance generated by the waves as the ship advances. Therefore, customarily, in order to reduce the wave-making resistance, the ship has a spherical bulbous bow protruding from the bow. [0005] However, the upper part of the bulb may be grooved and as such there will be unnecessary drag affecting the vessel when the vessel is in a tilted position or pitched fore and aft while the vessel is in a trim motion. The bulbous bow may actually increase the ship's resistance in the event of dr...
