The apparatus comprises an external awakening signal detection module, an interruption request generating module, a gated clock, and an interruption service program module. The external awakening signal detection module generates an internal awakening signal when an effective external awakening signal is detected. The interruption request generating module generates a gated clock enabling signal and an interruption request signal. The gated clock outputs a system clock to the interruption request generating module and an MCU according to the gated clock enabling signal, a sleep signal state and a register configuration signal state. After receiving the interruption request signal, the interruption service program module configures a gated clock control register to be in an effective state and generates an interruption exit signal and outputs the interruption exit signal to the MCU.
