Abstract

The invention discloses a modeling method based on an international electro technical commission (IEC) 61850 protocol and an extensive makeup language (XML) database. The method includes that (1) for a substation automatic system adopting the IEC 61850 standard, according to a whole-station security coding device (SCD) model description file, IED models of all devices in the substation are extracted; (2) the IED model structures of all the devices are unfolded and described in an XML file format and converted into a static base and an event base of an XML structure; (3) by means of the XML structure, a real-time base and an event deflection base based on the XML database are built; (4) a database API packaged with XQUERY inquiry language is used for processing the XML database. The method for describing an IEC 61850 model structure in the XML information format without distinguishing signal types is provided and developed. Information conversion and processing are achieved through the XML database, and accuracy of the models and parameters generated automatically can be ensured.
