Problems solved by technology

[0004] The purpose of the pedestrian recognition method in the non-overlapping domain monitoring system of the present invention is to provide a pedestrian recognition method in the non-overlapping domain monitoring system, which solves the problem that the existing color of the same target exists in different environments of different camera fields of view. difference, leading to the problem of not being able to correctly judge the target

Embodiment 1

[0193] Example 1: In order to test the proposed pedestrian target recognition method, different cameras are used to collect pedestrian video sequences at different times, different viewing angles and different lighting conditions. Taking the three targets detected by two cameras in the non-overlapping field of view monitoring system as an example to illustrate the pedestrian target recognition process, the same method is used for the target recognition collected by other cameras. Firstly, use these two cameras to capture an X-Rite standard color target under the same lighting environment, so as to establish the color mapping relationship between the two cameras. Obtain the color value of each color block in the color target, and solve the polynomial coefficient according to step 1:

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for recognizing a pedestrian in a monitoring system without an overlapped area. The method comprises the following steps of performing color correction among a plurality of cameras, and ensuring that a corrected image is IMi, i=(R, G, B); representing the corrected image IMi, i=(R, G, B) in the step 1 as a product of an intrinsic reflective image RIi, i=(R, G, B) and a radiation image SIi, i=(R, G, B), and extracting the intrinsic reflective image RIi, i=(R, G, B) of the target image; extracting a spatial histogram according to the intrinsic reflective image RIi, i=(R, G, B); recognizing a target; and calculating the similarity of spatial histograms of images acquired by all cameras in the monitoring system and a camera 1, and when the obtained maximum similarity is more than or equal to a set threshold value Th, confirming that the two images are the same target, otherwise, indicating that the target walks out of a monitoring field. The invention has the beneficial effect that the same target is correctly recognized by different cameras under different light sources in different environments.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of video monitoring, and relates to a pedestrian identification method in a non-overlapping domain monitoring system. Background technique [0002] In a video surveillance system with no overlapping field of view, when the target appearance model is established based on the color features of pedestrian targets for target recognition, the color difference between the same target due to the difference in lighting environment and the camera used needs to be proposed. Based on the inter-camera color correction and the extraction of target reflection images, the spatial histogram is used to establish the target appearance model, and the method of pedestrian target recognition is carried out through spatial histogram matching. Provide an effective basis for the continuous tracking of subsequent goals. [0003] Due to the limitation of geographical environment and cost, in recent years, the joint surveillance of c...
