Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for generating a diagram based on Excel. The method includes the following steps that configuration information is read, wherein the configuration information comprises keywords; when the keywords exist, positions of required data are located in the Excel according to the keywords, the data in the Excel are read from the located positions, and the diagram is generated according to the read data. The keywords are utilized to conduct locating, therefore, the data at any position in the Excel can be located according to requirements of users, then the diagram of the expected data is generated, flexibility is high, and dynamic configuration is achieved.
