Abstract

The invention discloses a subway arrival prompting method and system based on the android platform. The system comprises a subway line recommendation module, a subway arrival prompting module and a subway line real-time updating module, wherein the subway line recommendation module is used for listing all tripping lines which are arranged according to the lengths of the lines for a user after the user selects a starting point and a terminal point; the subway arrival prompting module is used for providing arrival or transfer prompting information for the user; and the subway line real-time updating module is used for downloading a subway route map for the user and updating subway routes in real time. Through implementation of the method and the system, citizens can be prevented conveniently from wasting time due to the fact that the citizens miss the stops.
