Embodiment

[0033] Such as figure 1 As shown, in the vehicle 10 , a cowl top 17 is arranged at the front of the vehicle body 11 and between the lower end of the windshield 13 and the rear end of the hood 14 . The hood 14 is a front-opening hood, and the left and right sides of the rear end are openably and closably attached to the vehicle body 11 , and the front portion can be locked to the vehicle body 11 by a hood locking member (not shown).

[0034] The cowl top 17 is a plate-shaped member that covers the gap between the lower end of the windshield 13 and the rear end of the hood 14 . A wiper device 16 for wiping off rainwater on the glass surface of the windshield glass 13 is arranged at the portion of the cowl top 17 (hereinafter simply referred to as "dash top 17").

[0035] Such as figure 2 and image 3 As shown, the cowl top 17 is mounted so as to be positioned on a windshield lower 21 of the vehicle body 11 by a plurality of clips 20 arranged in the vehicle width direction. ...

Abstract

Disclosed is a cowl top positioning structure for determining the relative positions of a windshield (13) and a front cowl top (17) by means of a clip (20). The clip (20) has: a cowl top mounting section (25) to which the front cowl top (17) is mounted; a windshield facing section (26) facing the lower end surface (22) of the windshield (13); and a reaction force generation section (27) for generating a reaction force acting against a pushing force with which the lower end surface (22) of the windshield (13) pushes the windshield facing section (26) toward the front of the vehicle body (11). The relative positions of the windshield (13) and the front cowl top (17) are determined by causing, by means of the reaction force generated by the reaction force generation section (27), the rear end surface (23) of the front cowl top (17) to abut against the lower end surface (22) of the windshield (13).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle cowl top positioning structure for positioning a windshield and a front cowl top of a vehicle body. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, a structure using a bracket is known as a vehicle cowl top positioning structure (for example, Patent Document 1). [0003] In the vehicle cowl top positioning structure disclosed in Patent Document 1, the windshield and the cowl top are separately attached to the vehicle body. Specifically, the windshield is joined to the vehicle body, and the rear end portion of the cowl top is overlaid on the lower end portion of the windshield. By covering the lower end of the windshield with the elastic seal member attached to the rear end of the cowl top, the variation in the joining position of the windshield to the vehicle body is absorbed to some extent. [0004] However, there are tolerances in the respective dimensions of the vehicle body, the windshield, and the cowl to...
