The system comprises a plurality of data storage devices, a data conversion device, a application service resource pool, a register device and a monitoring device, wherein the data conversion device is used for splitting or merging data stored in the data storage devices; the application service resource pool comprises a plurality of application servers which are connected with the data storage devices and used for processing the data stored in the data storage devices; and the monitoring device is used for monitoring the application servers in the application service resource pool, controlling the data conversion device to split the data when the performance index of the application servers is larger than a first threshold value, controlling the data conversion device to merge the data when the performance index of the application servers is smaller than a second threshold value, and changing the corresponding relationship between the application servers and data storage units recorded in the register device after the data are split or merged.
