Abstract

The invention relates to cursive characters, and a writing practice device and method thereof. The writing practice device of the cursive characters comprises a first storage portion, a second storage portion, a display portion and an image processing portion, wherein cursive character data are stored in the first storage portion; the second storage portion is used for storing approximate cursive font data, and according to the data, the cursive characters are decomposed to multiple components, approximate components such as numbers, letters or symbols are selected for each component, and the components are combined to form approximate cursive fonts approximate to the cursive characters; and the image processing portion reads the cursive character data stored in the first storage portion and displays the cursive character data in the display portion, and the image processing portion also reads the approximate cursive font data which are stored in the second storage portion and correspond to the cursive character data and displays the approximate cursive font data in the display portion. According to the invention, a practice can copy memorized overall fonts while practicing cursive or running script characters, thereby achieving the effects of learning the fonts of highly-difficult cursive or running script characters in short time.
