The method comprises the following steps that: when time synchronization operation is required by slave equipment and master equipment, the slave equipment inserts synchronization information into a time division multiplexer (TDM) data frame, and records a transmission time T1 of the TDM data frame; when detecting the TDM data frame with the synchronization information, the master equipment records a receiving time T2 of the TDM data frame; the master equipment inserts response information, T2 and a transmission time T3 of the response information into another TDM data frame, and transmits the another TDM data frame to the slave equipment; when detecting the TDM data frame with the response information, the slave equipment records a receiving time T4 of the another TDM data frame, and extracts T2 and T3; and the slave equipment calculates an offset value according to T1, T2, T3 and T4, and regulates the timestamp information of the slave equipment according to the offset value.
