The UWB ranging based anchoring device for the transformer substation is used for achieving safety use in a strong electric field environment and under the remote distance condition. Real-time tracking monitoring of a moving target in the transformer substation is carried out by the aid of the high-precision real-time positioning technology, three-dimensional positioning precision is less than 40 centimeters in distance, and safety of the moving target position is judged by combining equipment energized conditions with safety distance. The UWB ranging based anchoring device for the transformer substation is combined with safety area monitoring to acquire real-time positions of personnel in the transformer substation field and update the positions to a three-dimensional virtual scene in real time, so that the personnel positions in the three-dimensional virtual scene and the personnel positions in an actual scene are kept synchronous.
