The method includes the steps: acquiring a base station position identifier of the mobile terminal passing through a base station and time corresponding to passing in real time; and when monitoring change of the base station position identifier, determining that signals are switched by the base station, determining a reference position, reference time and the time of the mobile terminal, determining an offset distance based on time difference between the time of the mobile terminal and the reference time and average moving speed, and finally, positioning the current mobile terminal according to the offset distance. By the aid of the method and the system, accurate position information is acquired in an environment with unstable signals in a targeted manner based on the running track and a path of a train fixed into the subway and real-time dynamic monitoring of change of the base station position identifier, and the mobile terminal is positioned in a highly real-time, high-stability and low-cost manner.
