The method comprises the following steps that the registration identity information which is actively sent by all video acquiring and processing units when being initiated is received, and video acquiring units are recorded as effective video data checking equipment according to the registration identity information; when a real-time video checking request which is sent from a client side is detected, the corresponding video acquiring and processing units are judged to be the effective video data checking equipment or not, wherein the real-time video checking request contains the picture number information of a video signal which requires to be checked at the same time; if not, request failure is returned to the client side; and if yes, the real-time video checking request is transmitted to the corresponding video acquiring and processing unit, and the video data which is returned after the corresponding video acquiring and processing unit carried out multi-image treatment is received. By the method, the purpose of simultaneously and remotely monitoring the multiple elevator videos in a bandlimited wireless third generation (3G) network is realized.
