The plunger device comprises an instrument working barrel assembly, a plunger central barrel, a plunger sliding sleeve and a damper assembly, the instrument working barrel assembly is positioned at the top of the plunger device, the plunger central barrel and the plunger sliding sleeve form a main body of the plunger device, the damper assembly is positioned at the bottom of the plunger device, and a measuring instrument and a communication module are arranged in the instrument working barrel assembly. When used for gas well production, the plunger device goes back and forth between a well mouth and a well bottom and uninterruptedly transmits data measured by the underground measuring instrument to the ground for analysis in a wireless data transmission manner by the aid of the communication module at the well mouth. The plunger type drainage gas recovery system comprises a blowout prevention pipe assembly and a plunger, the measuring instrument and the communication module are arranged in the plunger, and the plunger uninterruptedly transmits the data measured by the underground measuring instrument to a communication module internally arranged in the blowout prevention pipe assembly by the aid of the communication module at the well mouth.
