Abstract

The invention provides a method for confirming an atlas according to images from a network. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring network characteristic information corresponding to each multiple image; carrying out a cluster process on the multiple images according to the network characteristic information corresponding to each image, and establishing or updating the atlas according to an image cluster result after the cluster process. According to the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the multiple images from the network are clustered according to the network characteristic information of the images, the atlas including similar images is generated according to the cluster result, and the atlas obtained through the cluster treatment can be taken as an integer to be provided for a user for carrying out image retrieval, and thus the image retrieval efficiency of the user is improved.
