Abstract

The invention provides an interweaved decoding method and device for eliminating a multilateral modulation symbol in a BICM (Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation) system, which comprises the following steps of: receiving a bit sequence output by a coder; forming a symbol node assembly by the received bit sequence; searching a modulation symbol comprising multiple edges to obtain a modulation symbol assembly comprising the multiple edges; judging whether the symbol node belongs to the modulation symbol assembly comprising the multiple edges; if yes, carrying out a bit exchange process; determining whether the bit number in the first assembly is more than 1; if yes, continuously carrying out the bit exchange process; if no, deleting the modulation symbol comprising multiple edges and corresponding to Sj, and judging whether the elements of other symbol node assemblies belong to the modulation symbol assembly comprising the multiple edges; outputting a bit exchange result; and decoding according to the bit exchange result.
