Abstract

A computer vision mouse is designed to solve the problems that an existing mouse is high in requirement on desktop, the utilization environment of the existing mouse directly affects of cursor following stability, long-time operation of the existing mouse results in hand rigidity as the hand posture of a user operating the mouse is fixed, and the like. The computer vision mouse comprises a base provided with a vision processing system, and a camera and an ARM based microprocessor are inset in the vision processing system. The hand of the user is positioned in front of the camera, a plurality of frames of images are extracted through the ARM based microprocessor to detect movement and determine movement portions which are then matched with samples in a vision mouse hand movement model standard library or hand movement model personal habit sample library, and mouse orders corresponding to matched movement models and hand movement image information are transmitted to mouse software used with the vision mouse through a USB (universal serial bus) data line connected with a computer of the user, so that vision mouse system functions are realized. A mouse is replaced by the hand of the user, a mouse entity can be omitted, and the computer vision mouse is applicable to various planes and suspension operations. Operation of the computer vision mouse has no fixed requirement on hand posture, so that the user can stretch the hand naturally to operate the computer vision mouse more naturally and comfortably.
