Problems solved by technology

[0004] In the current PACT process, after the powdered activated carbon and biologically activated sludge in the biochemical tank enter the secondary settling tank, they settle down in the secondary settling tank and are continuously discharged as waste, while fresh powder is added to the biochemical tank Activated carbon; therefore, the powdered activated carbon and biologically activated sludge in the PACT process are not recycled, resulting in waste of resources and high operating costs

Embodiment Construction

[0018] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0019] figure 1 It is a process flow diagram of the present invention, as shown in the figure, the PACT new process for the recyclable powdered activated carbon of the present invention to treat refractory biodegradable wastewater comprises the following steps:

[0020] 1) Use a sludge pump to pump out the powdered activated carbon and biologically activated sludge settled in the secondary sedimentation tank; of course, a small amount of powdered activated carbon also flows back to the biochemical tank along with the return sludge;

[0021] 2) Use a sludge dehydrator to dehydrate the powdered activated carbon and biologically activated sludge extracted in step 1), and the moisture content of the dehydrated powdered activated carbon and biologically activated sludge is less than 80%;

[0022] 3) The dehydrated powdered activated carbon a...

Abstract

The invention discloses a PACT (Production Analysis Control Technique) novel process for treating non-biodegradable waste water by using circularly-reproducible powdered activated carbon. The novel process comprises the following steps of: (1) pumping powdered activated carbon and biological active sludge precipitated in a secondary sedimentation tank out; (2) dehydrating the powdered activated carbon and biological active sludge pumped in the step (1); (3) performing drying, dry distillation and activation treatment on the dehydrated powdered activated carbon and biological active sludge obtained in the step (2) in sequence to decompose and evaporate the organic matters adsorbed by the powdered activated carbon, and pyrolyzing the biological active sludge into active carbon; and (4) milling a product obtained in the step (3) into powder, and putting the powder serving as renewable powdered active carbon into a biochemical basin. In the novel process, the powdered active carbon is regenerated after drying, dry distillation and activation treatment along with dehydration of the biological active sludge, and the biological active sludge is pyrolyzed into active carbon simultaneously, so that the aim of recycling powdered active carbon and biological active sludge is fulfilled, and the running cost of the PACT process is greatly lowered.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the improvement of the PACT process, in particular to a new PACT process which can regenerate and recycle powdered activated carbon to treat refractory biodegradable wastewater. Background technique [0002] The PACT process (Powdered Activated Carbon Treatment Process) is a technology developed by Du Pont (Du Pont) to add powdered activated carbon to the activated sludge system. It is also known as the AS-PAC process (Activated Sludge-Powdered Activated Carbon, powdered activated carbon - activated sludge process). [0003] The advantage of the PACT process is that after adding powdered activated carbon to the biochemical tank, the powdered activated carbon and the microorganisms in the biologically activated sludge work together to increase the removal of pollutants. On the one hand, the powdered activated carbon adsorbs pollutants, on the other hand, Microorganisms can grow attached to powdered activated carbon, and microo...
