Embodiment 1

[0053] Figure 4 It is a preferred flow chart of the method for counting multimedia broadcast multicast services according to an embodiment of the present invention, which includes:

[0054] S402. The MCE configures MBMS service counting parameters, wherein the MBMS service counting parameters: MBMS service identifiers that need to be counted in one or more MBSFN areas, and update time of the MCCH corresponding to each MBSFN area;

[0055] S404, the MCE sends a message carrying the MBMS service count parameter to the eNB;

[0056] S406, the eNB starts counting the MBMS service corresponding to the MBMS service identifier in each MBSFN area according to the update time of the MCCH corresponding to each MBSFN area.

[0057] In this preferred embodiment, by configuring the update time of the MCCH corresponding to each MBSFN area, the problem that the counting of MBMS services in multiple MBSFN areas cannot be started in the prior art is solved, and the synchronization of MBMS co...

Embodiment 2

[0089] This implementation clarifies that on the M2 interface, the eNB reports the counting results of the MBMS services that need to be counted in the message 1 to the MCE through the message 4 respectively.

[0090] After receiving message 1, eNB sends message 2 on one or more MCCHs, also called counting request message (Counting Request message). Message 2 sent on each MCCH bears the MBMS service of the corresponding MBSFN area in the message respectively. That is to say, MBMS services that need to be counted are carried in message 2, and these services are the only MBMS services that need to be counted corresponding to the MBSFN area in message 1.

Embodiment 3

[0106] Example 3 as Figure 7 As shown, the specific description is as follows:

[0107] 1) The MCE sends an M2 interface message to the eNB. Embodiment 3 takes the MBMS service counting request message carried on the M2 interface (ie: message 1, MBMS Service Counting Request message) as an example;

[0108] The message includes all MBMS service identifiers that need to be counted, and these MBMS service identifiers belong to one or more MBSFN areas;

[0109] The message also includes the update time of the MCCH corresponding to the above-mentioned MBSFN area. The MCCH update time can be identified by the MCCH modification cycle, such as: 0, 1, 2, .... 255, 0-indicates that the MCCH is in the following MCCH modification cycle update; 1-update of the next MCCH modification cycle, and so on.

[0110] Preferably, Embodiment 3 is described by taking three MBMS services that need to be counted as an example. The TMGIs of the three MBMS services (MBMS service1, MBMS service2, and ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method and system for counting multimedia broadcast multicast services. The method comprises the steps: an MCE (Multi-cell / Multicast Coordination Entity) configures MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) counting parameters, wherein the MBMS counting parameters comprise MBMS identifications needing being counted in one or more MBSFN (MBMS over a Single Frequency Network) areas, and updating time of an MCCH (Multicast Control Channel) corresponding to each MBSFN area; the MCE sends a message carrying out the MBMS counting parameters to an eNB; and the eNB starts counting of the MBMSs corresponding to the MBMS identifications in each MBSFN area according to the updating time of the MCCH corresponding to each MBSFN area. According to the invention, the problem of incapability of starting the counting of the MBMSs in the plurality of MBSFN areas in the prior art is solved, and MBMS counting request messages are synchronously sent.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of multimedia broadcast multicast (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service, MBMS), in particular to a method and system for counting multimedia broadcast multicast services. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of the Internet and the popularization of large-screen multifunctional mobile phones, a large number of mobile data multimedia services and various high-bandwidth multimedia services have emerged, such as video conferencing, TV broadcasting, video on demand, video advertising, online education, interactive games, etc. These mobile data multimedia services and various high-bandwidth multimedia services not only meet the ever-increasing service demands of mobile users, but also bring new business growth points to mobile operators. These mobile data multimedia services and various high-bandwidth multimedia services require multiple users to receive the same data at the same time. Compare...
