Embodiment Construction

[0054] The present invention will be described in detail through examples below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, but it does not constitute a limitation to the present invention.

[0055] This embodiment provides an example of a real-time video transmission system using the method of the present invention.

[0056] In this embodiment, the source node is a video collection node. It uses VIA's industrial control motherboard CN13000, the main frequency is 1.3GHz, and is equipped with 1G Kingston memory, and uses EDiMAX's EW-7318USg 802.11 wireless network card for communication. The source node uses SONY's 480CP camera to collect video, and converts the camera's analog signal into an H.264 video stream through Haikang's DS-4004HC video capture card. The baud rate (bit rate) is set to 250Kb / s, and the frame The resolution is standard CIF format: 352×288, the frame rate is set to 15fps, each GOP contains 15 frames, the format is [IPP…], there is no B frame. The oper...

Abstract

The invention discloses a real-time video transmission method, which belongs to the technical field of Ad Hoc networks. The method comprises that: 1) a source node codes a video stream by adopting a priority linear coding method; 2) the source node packs each coded data block to form a data packet, and transmits the data packet in a broadcasting way by a radio link; 3) a forwarding node recodes the received data packet into a new data packet according to calculated forwarding probability by using a priority coding algorithm, and transmits the new data packet to a destination node; and 4) the destination node receives the data packet of which a destination is the destination node, decodes the data packet by adopting the priority linear coding method, and generates the original video stream. Compared with the prior art, the invention increases the utilization rate of a network bandwidth and improves video transmission quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to real-time video transmission, in particular to a method for real-time video transmission based on priority linear coding and opportunistic routing in Ad Hoc networks, and belongs to the technical field of Ad Hoc networks. Background technique [0002] With the popularity of short-distance wireless communication devices and the development of 802.11 wireless communication technology, it is possible to transmit real-time video in a WIFI-based Ad Hoc network. However, the high and variable packet loss rate of wireless links seriously affects the video quality, which makes it challenging to transmit high-quality video in Ad Hoc networks. In addition, due to the limited bandwidth of the wireless link, the bandwidth utilization of the system needs to be considered when designing the video transmission system. [0003] At present, most popular video compression algorithms (such as: H.264 and MPEG4) adopt a motion-compensated predicti...
