Problems solved by technology

First, the reading method of its ID is contact type, which reduces the reliability of the system and increases the complexity and cost of the system
Second, the two ends of the line must store a fixed number, which can only provide management for the fiber jumper
Third, the simple serial number is inconsistent with the actual physical location, and there are still a lot of additional auxiliary software and manual input required for the initial installation of the system
Fourth, changes in optical fibers cannot be detected in real time

Embodiment Construction

[0029] The implementation process of the present invention will be described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0030] attached figure 1 Described is the ODN network connection of the present invention. In an FTTx system, hundreds of millions of optical fibers are connected from the distribution box to the end user. At the same time, there are sections of optical fiber connected between the distribution boxes to form a link. Finally, a huge ODN network is formed. Use background management software, mobile terminals and visualization software on them to manage thousands of indoor and outdoor distribution boxes in the ODN network and more than a few in the distribution box through wireless networks (3G or WiFi, etc.) or wired networks billions of optical fibers.

Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent management system of an ODN (optical distribution network) based on RFID (radio frequency identification). An RFID technology is utilized to bind an RFID electronic tag with a global unique ID (identifier) to each optical fiber connector; an RFID identifier and an electronic gate lock are added in a distribution box; by matching with back-ground management software and a mobile terminal, when any optical fiber is changed, the back-ground management software is used for sending an instruction to the mobile terminal of an operator; the mobile terminal uses a GIS (geographic information system) to guide the operator to search the position of an optical fiber connecting end, the electronic gate lock is opened, and all the optical fibers are scanned; and the operation is finished under the guidance of the RFID identifier and an LED (light-emitting diode) lamp, so that any misoperation can be perceived in time. By using the technical scheme, thousands of optical cables and tail optical fibers dispersed in the fields can be found out in time if necessary, and the accuracy of all the operations and the changes of the optical fibers can be further ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of optical distribution network (ODN) management, in particular to an ODN network intelligent management system based on radio frequency identification (RFID). Background technique [0002] With the promotion of many information events such as triple play and FTTx, the construction of networks, especially the construction of optical networks, is already very large. A network generally includes a core layer, an aggregation layer, and an access layer. Among them, the most complex and difficult part to manage is the access layer. The access layer needs to build a huge optical fiber distribution network, that is, the ODN network. ODN network construction costs are high, and can account for up to 50%-70% of FTTH's overall investment. As the bandwidth requirements of various services are getting higher and higher, the ODN network needs to support the long-term development of the broadband network no matter whic...
