Abstract

The invention discloses an engineering configuration management method and system for a distributed control system (DCS), which are used for overcoming the defect of unavailable multi-domain uniform management in the conventional DCS. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: setting a corresponding domain server for each unit domain of the DCS, and setting a management domain; configuring in each unit domain respectively to obtain a configuration file of each unit domain, and storing the configuration file of each unit domain on respective corresponding domain server; sharing an engineering configuration home directory of each unit domain; and adding unit domain engineering on the management domain according to the engineering configuration home directory, and uniformly configuring each unit domain. Due to the adoption of the technical scheme of the invention, the defect of unavailable multi-domain uniform management in the conventional DCS is overcome; and the method can be applied to various systems based on domains or analogous functions.
