Problems solved by technology

Among the above methods, the constellation extension method is a clipping-based method that does not need to transmit sideband information. The clipping noise is optimized by adjusting the constellation diagram, and finally achieves the purpose of distortion-free transmission. However, in order to To achieve a lower peak-to-average ratio, more iterations are required

Embodiment Construction

[0026] In the following, the method for extending the constellation diagram will be briefly introduced first, and then the present invention will be described in detail.

[0027] Constellation Diagram Expansion

[0028] Constellation extension method ACE is a non-bijective constellation mapping algorithm. Its basic principle is to reduce the peak-to-average ratio by changing the position of points on the constellation diagram. The general constellation mapping is to map certain bits into certain fixed points on the constellation diagram, while the constellation expansion method allows certain constellation points to be mapped to a specific area. figure 1 It is the constellation map mapping method of QPSK and 16QAM, that is, to adjust the points on the periphery of the constellation map to the direction away from other constellation points. The mathematical expression of the ACE algorithm is

Abstract

The invention discloses a signal peak-to-average ratio reduction method for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. A peak-to-average ratio is reduced by combining a constellation extension method and null sub-carriers. Regulation is performed on data sub-carriers according to constellation extension rules. Frequency domain filtering is performed on the null sub-carriers. In the method, amplitude-prelimited signal noises are processed to generate a peak cancellation vector in ways of regulating data on the data sub-carriers according to the constellation extension rules, performing a frequency domain filtering operation on the null sub-carriers, reserving noises of a null sub-carrier part and zero-setting the noises of a data sub-carrier part to completely transfer the noises to areas of the null sub-carriers and constellation extension without influencing judgment in a constellation diagram of a receiver to further reduce the peak-to-average ratio of a signal. By the method, the peak-to-average ratio of the OFDM signal can be effectively reduced, and iteration times can be reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to PAPR (Peak-to-Average Ratio Reduction) technology in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system, which is an Orthogonal Frequency Division The method of reducing the signal peak-to-average ratio in the multiplexing system is used in the design of the peak-to-average power ratio in OFDM, and combines the constellation extension method (ACE) with the empty subcarrier in OFDM to reduce the signal peak-to-average ratio and accelerate the iterative convergence of the ACE algorithm speed, and more effectively reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of the signal. Background technique [0002] With the increasing demand for mobile communications and wireless networks, more advanced wireless transmission technologies are increasingly required. One of the most immediate challenges in the design of high-speed wireless communication systems is to over...
