Abstract
The invention particularly relates to a salt-tolerant and drought-resistant gene TaMYB33 of wheat and coding protein as well as application thereof, belonging to the technical field of biological gene engineering. The salt-tolerant and drought-resistant gene TaMYB33 of wheat is a nucleotide sequence SEQ ID No.1 in a sequence table. The invention has the beneficial effects that an MYB transcription factor gene TaMYB33 of wheat is obtained by cloning for the first time, and a mediation method of agrobacterium tumefaciens is used for transferring the gene into arabidopsis. The comparative analysis proves that compared with a wild arabidopsis plant, the salt tolerance and drought resistance of a transgenic arabidopsis plant containing the gene TaMYB33 provided by the invention are obviously improved.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biological gene engineering, and specifically relates to wheat salt-tolerant and drought-resistant gene TaMYB33 and its coded protein and application. Background technique [0002] Soil salinization and drought are the most important environmental factors affecting plant growth and crop yield, and are global problems restricting agricultural production and development. The environment is deteriorating day by day. Saline soil can cause physiological drought of plants, damage plant tissues, affect the normal nutrient absorption of plants, and hinder the normal growth of plants. Soil salinization is one of the most serious environmental stresses affecting plant growth and development. After the plant ingests excessive Na plasma, the ion concentration in the cell increases, destroys the ion balance, causes the poisonous effect of mineral elements, and also leads to the loss of enzyme activity, which in tur...
