The embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus and a Mobile Terminal (MT) for updating the service content of the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), involve the technical field of communications and are aimed to improve the update flexibility for the USSD service of the MT. The method includes: transmitting a version information request message to a USSD configuration server; receiving a version information request response message transmitted from the USSD configuration server, and obtaining the version information of a USSD configuration file from the information request response message; comparing the version information of the USSD configuration file with the version information of its own USSD configuration file; obtaining the USSD configuration file from the USSD configuration server if the version of the USSD configuration file is higher than the version of its own USSD configuration file; and updating its own USSD service content using the USSD configuration file. The embodiments of the present invention are used in the technology for updating the service content of the USSD.
