Abstract

The invention provides an advertisement system and an advertisement displaying method. The advertisement system is used for playing advertisement contents. The advertisement system comprises a data generating device, a displaying device, an infrared ray sensor, and a controlling unit, wherein the data generating device is used for generating the advertisement contents; the displaying device is coupled with the data generating device and outputting the advertisement contents; the infrared ray sensor is used for detecting the change of an infrared signal of the displaying device in a preset range so as to generate a detection result; and the controlling is used for controlling the action of the data generating device according to the detection result. According to the invention, the advertisement contents can be adjusted according to the distance between a consumer and the displaying device so as to provide vivid and interactive advertisement, and effectively improve the effect of the advertisement.
