Problems solved by technology

If the air pressure is too low, then the tire rolls only with the outer shoulder of the tire, wears only on the outside, and again only transmits less force, moreover this will also cause the tire to heat up and in extreme cases explode or disintegrate
[0009] Thus, on conventional vehicles, tire damage due to defective tire tracks

Embodiment Construction

[0044] figure 1 A device 150 according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown for ascertaining parameters characterizing the footprint of tire 104 , more precisely for ascertaining the footprint length 1 .

[0045] Said device 150 comprises an electromechanical transducer 102 mounted on a tire 104 and used in the tire 104 footprint pass process (see arrow 120, or figure 2 In the interval between positions 2 and 4 ), a time-dependent electrical sensor signal is generated as a function of the bending of the electromechanical converter 102 . Furthermore, device 150 includes an evaluation circuit 100 for evaluating the sensor signals of electromechanical transducer 102 of tire 104 to determine the footprint of tire 104 .

[0046] When the tire 104 rotates in the direction indicated at 120 , the electromechanical transducer 102 , for example a piezoelectric element, bends during this rotation as long as the electromechanical transducer 102 adjoins the road 122 on wh...

Abstract

The circuit (100) has a sensitivity adjusting mechanism (108) adjusting input sensitivity of the circuit based on strength of a time-dependent electrical sensor signal of an electromechanical converter (102) such that the full sensor signal is evaluated with adjusted input sensitivity. An evaluation device (110) generates an evaluation signal with the adjusted input sensitivity based on the provided sensor signal, where the evaluation signal indicates tread shuffle process of a tire (104). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for determining tread shuffle of a tire comprising an evaluation circuit (2) a method for evaluating a sensor signal of an electromechanical converter of the tire (3) a computer-readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for evaluating the sensor signal of the electromechanical converter (4) a program element for evaluating the sensor signal of the electromechanical converter.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an evaluation circuit for evaluating sensor signals of an electromechanical transducer of a tire to determine the footprint of the tire. [0002] Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for ascertaining the footprint of a tire. [0003] The invention also relates to a vehicle. [0004] The invention also relates to a method for analyzing sensor signals of an electromechanical transducer of a tyre, in order to ascertain the footprint of the tyre. [0005] Furthermore, the invention also relates to a program element. [0006] In addition, the present invention also relates to a computer-readable storage medium. Background technique [0007] Modern motor vehicles form complex hardware and software systems. To regulate and control mechatronic automotive systems, a wide variety of controllers are used. The intelligent tire system also integrates the footprint of the tire into the operation of the vehicle. [0008] The f...
